MINISTRIES

Azalea believes in being available to others, and has participated in many long standing ministries throughout the years. Presently, here are some of the current ministries:

Hope For the Holidays Gift Card Drive

Before Christmas each year, we collect $25 gift cards from Target or Walmart -- and/or donations to purchase them.  They are given to CASA (Community Action Stops Abuse) to be given to the residents.  This allows the parents to go to the stores, and choose the gifts they know their child or children will enjoy for Christmas -- especially at such a difficult time in their lives.

Summer Cereal Drive 

In the spring, the Azalea church family brings boxes of cereal and donations for the Summer Cereal Collection.  These are added to others received by the Woman's Club and delivered to a local needy school.

Back to School Supplies

In the summer, we collect school supplies.  These are distributed to CCS (Community Christian School) -- a school on campus -- and also given to the Woman's Club to be passed on to local schools. 

American House

For the past four years, on the first Sunday of each month, the Azalea Singers have gone to American House Assisted Living with a program of timely music, a devotion, and a time to visit with the residents.
